I have always been driven by two passions: the arts and a deep commitment to making the world a better place. After graduating high school, I was honored to study painting at the renowned Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze in Italy, where I immersed myself in the techniques of the Old Masters, art history, and restoration. Upon returning home, I opened my own studio, creating commissioned works and teaching children—hoping to spark in them the same love for art that shaped my own path.
My dedication to global understanding led me to pursue a parallel journey in international relations, culminating in a Master’s degree and a career with the United Nations. I later served as a diplomat representing Ecuador at the UN in Geneva and New York. Along the way, I also earned a Master’s in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.
Though these paths may seem distinct, I see them as deeply connected. My experiences in diplomacy and global advocacy have enriched my vision as an artist, while my artistic sensibility has brought empathy and nuance to my work on the international stage. Through my art, I continue to explore the intersections of beauty, humanity, and cultural dialogue.
